Jacob van Gheyn I was an engraver, glass painter and miniature painter. (LR10-509)
He made glass-stained windows for some churches in Antwerp (Belgium)
His son Jacob II was an engraver, draughtsman and painter (LR10-509)
he made landscapes, portraits in medal-format, at the end of his life still-lives with flowers.
The third Jacob (also Jacques) was first an engraver and draughtsman.(HS)

Among the ancestors, there are several persons by the name of Van Geyn or otherwise spelled, who lived close to the Zuiderzee (Amersfoort) and in Amsterdam.
